I meant examples of songs/animes. :p I'm not familiar with what Toei works on.

The manga is obviously more reliable and if you're a true fan of the series and want to get your facts straight and be able to analyse the story and the characters without contradictions every other minute. I own all 42 volumes of the manga and absolutely love it for that. It's also just a different experience from watching the show on tv. It's pretty cool.

That being said -- I'm probably a weirdo for thinking this way -- fillers don't annoy me at all. I know what they are, I know they're not supposed to be taken too seriously, and therefore I just enjoy them purely for the entertainment factor. Moreover, when you're a kid watching DBZ on tv you generally don't care about fillers and plotholes and whatnot. You just enjoy watching the show. At least that's what happened to me as a kid before I read the manga. And I also happen to believe some of the fillers were pretty good. I mean, Goku getting a driver's license?! That was gold. It's the type of stuff you love watching as a kid imo.

So yeah, for facts = manga / for entertainment = anime. And a combination of both is obvi the best.

I actually find it more entertaining to sit down and read the comics.
I find it more relaxing and smooth.
When I watch the anime I feel like ''C'mon! Get it over with! xD''.

That was the point of this topic. Not to see what people prefer, but what the majority think is better as either a manga or an anime.
